Welcome to the Boys’ School!

At TA Boys, learning is about so much more than acquiring knowledge. It’s alive, energetic, passionate and hands-on.

It’s a partnership between our outstandingly dedicated rebbeim and teachers to cultivate young men with a deep love of learning, passion for yiddishkeit, and the middos (character traits) that are the hallmark of a true ben Torah.
At the heart of a warm, vibrant, and close-knit community, the walls of the school are permeated by their surroundings. The boys interact, learn, and play together both in school and out, taking their part in the broader community alongside their rebbeim, in shul, at social events, and at learning programs.

At the culmination of their elementary school years, our boys have developed into passionate, growth-oriented, intellectually-serious young men, ready to move on to the next stage of their lives.

Middos Program

Derech eretz kadmah l’Torah. The way we treat others is foundational to Jewish life. As part of a broader middos awareness, different awards are presented throughout the year to classes displaying respect, caring, and integrity.

Chemdas learning

An innovative Torah learning program for boys in grades 3-8, Chemdas inspires students to learn for sheer enjoyment! The program pairs older students with younger ‘chavrusas’, learning together twice a week.
Boys in grades 1 and 2 partake in a parallel Junior program with learning and prizes tailored for their age level.

Canteen

Operated by the eighth grade boys under teacher supervision, the canteen helps the boys develop good business sense and financial responsibility.

Shabbos

Middle school boys partake in a Friday Shabbos tish with singing, divrei Torah, and Shabbos food while the boys in grades 1-5 enjoy a weekly assembly devoted to seasonal topics and presentations.

Electives

Sixth, seventh, and eighth graders can choose from a variety of electives, including chess, woodworking, and robotics.

Darcheinu

Darcheinu is a social-emotional curriculum for the 5th-8th grade used in Jewish day schools nationally. Based on the SEL curriculum, Darcheniu has been proven to increase self-esteem and develop positive social skills.

Talmudo B’Yado

The Talmudo B’Yado program encourages students to review the Gemara learned nightly and weekly, developing responsibility for their learning.

Geography Bee

Grades 1-8 compete to solve a Geography Question of the Day. Fourth to eighth grade boys participate in a Geography Bee, which allows them to learn geography and improve their memory skills simultaneously.

STEM Fair

A hands-on experience, the boys each choose a STEM topic, explore it independently, and present their research at an exciting school-wide STEM Fair.
